Daisy Doris May is a drag king, writer and performer known for her character-driven comedy. Her popular sketch acts Steve Porters, HÄNS OFF and The Divine Karen Moonstone, have earned her recognition as a rising comedic talent, with comparisons as the next Catherine Tate.
She has performed at Soho Theatre, tour supported Hannah Gadsby at the London Palladium and held residences at The Box with her cabaret collective, HÄUS OF DONS. At the Edinburgh Fringe she performed her solo shows How to Flirt: The TED XXX Talk and How to Mate: The Second TED XXX Talk.
Daisy won MAN UP, Europe’s largest Drag King competition, was a finalist in Bristol Comedy Festival and won the SCREENSHOT competition. Her screen credits include Sex Education, Professor T, Downton Abbey, Genius and The Last Kingdom. She is also the voice of the popular TV show First Dates.
Daisy took her new show Big Night Out to Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2025, receiving rave reviews and is debuting her UK tour later this year.
Daisy’s work focuses on bold, character-driven storytelling rooted in queerness and identity.
