Abby Wambaugh is an American comedian, writer, and improviser who has made her mark on the UK comedy scene, notably becoming a finalist in the 2021 Funny Women Stage Awards. In 2024, she debuted her critically acclaimed show, The First 3 Minutes of 17 Shows, which earned her the Best Newcomer ISH Edinburgh Comedy Award and the European Comedy Awards Best Show. She was also nominated for the Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, the Comedians Choice Award, and Next Up’s Biggest Comedy Award. Theatre Weekly named her show as Best Comedy, highlighting it as one of the standout performances of the Fringe.

Abby’s talent was further recognised when she was shortlisted for the 2022 BBC New Comedy Awards and selected for the Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2023.

Regularly performing and hosting comedy shows in both Copenhagen and the UK, Abby is also the creator and co-host of the up-and-coming podcast Help Hole alongside Sofie Hagen.
