MPW are recruiting – The Role:  Office Manager

Location:  Brighton

Salary:  £20,000 to £22,000 pro rata (based on a 35-hour week) according to experience

Industry: Entertainment

Hours: 9.30am to 2.30pm five days per week


Mick Perrin Worldwide promote comedy in the UK and in over 50 different countries around the world.  MPW also manage comedians from many different countries and represent them in the UK and globally.


Mick Perrin Worldwide Ltd require an Office Manager to facilitate the efficient and smooth running of their office and building in Kemp Town. This is a varied role in a fast paced environment which requires a confident individual who can work on their own initiative.


Duties and responsibilities – The role entails but is not limited to:

  • Facilities management
  • Maintaining and updating the company website
  • HR function – liaising with external HR provider re employment contracts, new starters and employee terms & conditions
  • Maintaining office supplies
  • Archiving and maintaining the on and off-site store
  • Waste management – recycling, shredding of sensitive data
  • Reception duties – answering and redirecting calls, greeting guests
  • Preparation of agenda and minutes
  • Maintain annual contracts with suppliers


Person Specification:

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years-experience in an Office Manager/Admin role
  • Excellent administrative, time management and scheduling skills
  • Microsoft Word and Excel to a good level
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, able to liaise at all levels
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
  • Proactive and positive approach with a strong work ethic
  • Detail oriented


Desirable Skills

  • Previous Experience of database management
  • Good social media skills
  • Experience of Word Press
  • Driver preferred
